Spiral Butterfly

Butterflies have always been the symbol of regeneration and transformation. Humanity is now in the midst of profound changes that could lead to a new civilization. Yes, humanity is on the verge of a great leap in its evolution as a biological species! And this trend is driven by our decisions and actions.

The Butterfly symbol reminds us that we live in an emerging world in which our decisions and actions really matter! It reminds us that we live in a world of connectivity, that we are not alone, but together. In partnership we can achieve much more! We live in a plentiful Univers and not exploitation and competition will bring us this wealth, but collaboration and partnership!

The spiral is a form that can be found very often in nature. We can find it everywhere is an organically growing: be it a cyclone, a plant, a flower, a tendril of a plant, a shell, a spider web.

The spiral was always the symbol of organic growth, of evolution, of becoming, of unfolding. Spiral was one of the most important symbols of the old Neolithic cultures of the Great Goddess of Life. It is found on all continents. It is a powerful symbol linked to Nature and Life, budding, transformation, organic growth, participation and commitment. Its presence always inspires organic growth. Interesting, the spirituality of Imperial period (see Evolution Butterfly: Red, Amber and Orange stages) did not had spiral in their symbolism.

A special spiral is the open spiral, vortex. The best symbol of a holon, of any open system is the vortex. Any open system communicate: something enters, something get out. The human being is a vortex. An open spiral. Any ecosystem is a vortex. Great Circle of Life is a vortex. Therefore in many of our drawings you will find the symbol of the holon: an open spiral surrounded by a permeable membrane, through which the holon can control its exchanges.

Spiral Butterfly is the image of Life that evolves organically. Life is not a closed circle, but a spiral.
